Trip to Vegas

Jordan turned 30!

I was so excited that my family was coming together to celebrate it in Vegas. It was such a fun and packed weekend. I love spending time with family. My Mom and Brittney worked hard to make it a special day- and it was!

We surprised Jordan, Marlo, and Drake at the airport with special birthday shirts...

Played Jordo (aka Bingo)a birthday game Brittney put together...

Every one took a hit on a Pinata...
Played outside...
... went out to dinner at the Outback and visited the Vegas Sign!

It was a birthday party! Wish we had more birthdays so we could get together again! I miss and love you all!

Off to Oakland, CA!

Grayson turned 3!

To celebrate his birthday my parents, Landry, and I all made a quick weekend trip up to Oakland to visit Tyler, Alisha, and the kids. I love going to California and seeing everybody- it is always SO fun. Straight from the airport we all met up at the Oakland Temple. It is gorgeous and you can walk on the roof to see an amazing view of CA. From there we went to Pixie land! It's a cute theme park for kids, Bella and Grayson loved it. And then off to the park for presents and cupcakes. It was a really fun day. I miss everyone- Can't wait to visit again!

The Big Day!

Landry's Homecoming was such a surreal day. I can still remember going to his farewell and taking this picture together right before we said goodbye...

And then to finally have him home was/is the best feeling ever. Knowing we had taken this picture before he left, we tried to recreate it at his homecoming. It's so fun for us to look at the differences. We have both grown up so much over these past two years. Ah, I'm just so happy he's back!

A few more pictures from the day..

Welcome home Elder Peterson!

He's Back!

Where have these 2 months gone?! Today the 18th marks Landry's 2 months back from his 2 year mission. I can't believe it. I'm so happy to have him home. I can still remember the night he came home and how excited/ anxious I was with millions of butterflies in my stomach. However, the minute I saw him walking toward me all the nervousness went away and a permanent smile was on my face. Two months later and I'm still as happy as I was that first night.. if not more. It has been amazing having him home.
